      Taking Mum's hand,

I whispered 'Are we really safe, here?'

― Alwyn Evans, Walk in My Shoes

Dear Collegue,

The resources found on the Home, Again website are intended to inform, assist, guide, inspire and provide information and support to you as well as the immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers you support.  We have done a lot of the web searching for you.  Some of the content is websites, some are downloadable content for you to share with your clients and/or colleagues.  In no way is this a full list but we do hope it will help you to identify areas of need/interest where you can then further search to fulfill your own diverse needs.  If you do find content that is worthy of the Home, Again site, please email the team at: Home, Again and we gladly will add the content to the site.

We chose sites from all over the United States as well as local resources.  The reason for this is so you can see how other programs are doing it nationally and perhaps you will read something that inspires you to add or change what is being done in your community.  With that said, the Home, Again team does not hold opinions to approaches of support or empirical based research beyond that of what is needed to ensure an individual’s basic human rights are attended to.

The Home, Again team works feverishly to identify resources that are up to date, meaningful and accurate.  With that said, the sites, handouts and articles provided on this website are not the property of the Home, Again team and therefore we cannot be responsible for the content. If you find content that is inappropriate please contact the Home, Again team right away and we can make the corrections.

Please feel free to share this website and consider taking this brief survey so we can gauge the Home, Again websites usefulness.  For instance, some of the content includes research articles.  We chose to include only articles that are available for free download, however if you feel having access to partial articles would be helpful, please indicate that when filling out the Home, Again website survey.  Your feedback is invaluable as it will assist us with improving the site for future viewers.

Thank you so much for your participation and time.

Warm regards,

Team Home, Again
